Parothumneer

Parothumneer is a small village near Cherupuzha, Kannur district, Kerala, India. It is located 40km from Payyanur. The name "Parothumneer" originated from a small beckhuh under the tree "Paroth". It is also famous for the Theyyam in Shree Vishnumurthy Temple each year.Fact|date=December 2007
