2008 Malta Cup (snooker)

The 2008 Malta Cup took place between 4 February and 10 February 2008. Shaun Murphy won the title, beating Ken Doherty 9-3 in the final.

Match-fixing allegations

Group Stage

Group matches are played over 6 frames. A win is worth 2 points and a tie is worth 1 point. The top player from each group will qualify to the semi-finals.

Knock-out stages

The semi-finals will take place over the best of 11 frames, whereas the final will take place over the best of 17 frames.
