Robert Forde (footballer) (born 25 May 1973 in Galway) is an Irish former footballer.
A goalkeeper he started his League of Ireland career at Galway United and signed for Shamrock Rovers from Home Farm in 1997. He made his Rovers debut on the 15th of August and went to make 29 appearances that season keeping 10 clean sheets. Renowned as a penalty saver he made 2 appearances for Rovers in European competition.
Left the club in 1999 to rejoin his hometown club and later had spells at Kilkenny City , Monaghan and Athlone Town.
