Early life
Robinson was raised in
Bemidji, Minnesota . Upon graduation she moved toAnn Arbor, Michigan where she attendedUniversity of Michigan and earned a double B.A. in Political Science and Germanic Studies. She later returned theUniversity of Michigan Law School to earn her law degree.Legal career
Robinson is a
Wisconsin attorney and a partner at Herrick & Kasdorf, LLP, inMadison, Wisconsin , focusing on tenant-landlord,real estate , immigration, and nonprofit organization law. Robinson served as co-chair of the Coordinated Campaign Committee of the Green Party of the United States from 2002 through 2004.Robinson serves on the board of directors of the
Wisconsin Coordinating Council on Nicaragua and on the Housing and Economic Development Working Group for the Dane County (WI) Comprehensive Plan. Robinson moved to Madison, was admitted to the Wisconsin bar and began work in legal information and services. In early 2006, she was invited to join the firm Herrick & Kasdorf. Robinson is a member of the Dane CountyBar Association , theNational Lawyers Guild , and the Elder Law and Probate, Trusts and Real Estate sections of theWisconsin State Bar .
