Juscha Robinson

Juscha Robinson is a prominent American legal activist and fellow at Liberty Tree, where she acts as the director of the local democracy program. [ [http://www.libertytreefdr.org/ Liberty Tree] ] She has also been a major offcier in the Green Party of the US.

Early life

Robinson was raised in Bemidji, Minnesota. Upon graduation she moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan where she attended University of Michigan and earned a double B.A. in Political Science and Germanic Studies. She later returned the University of Michigan Law School to earn her law degree.

Legal career

Robinson is a Wisconsin attorney and a partner at Herrick & Kasdorf, LLP, in Madison, Wisconsin, focusing on tenant-landlord, real estate, immigration, and nonprofit organization law. Robinson served as co-chair of the Coordinated Campaign Committee of the Green Party of the United States from 2002 through 2004.

Robinson serves on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Coordinating Council on Nicaragua and on the Housing and Economic Development Working Group for the Dane County (WI) Comprehensive Plan. Robinson moved to Madison, was admitted to the Wisconsin bar and began work in legal information and services. In early 2006, she was invited to join the firm Herrick & Kasdorf. Robinson is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, the National Lawyers Guild, and the Elder Law and Probate, Trusts and Real Estate sections of the Wisconsin State Bar. She is active in affordable housing issues in Dane County, and manages local election campaigns.
