The Ohio Distance and Electronic Learning Academy (OHDELA) is a tuition-free public charter school for grades K-12. It used to be homeschool as taught by the legal guardians of the children, but is now an online school that is taught by professional teachers.
The school is headquartered in Akron, Ohio, United States.
This school is a PUBLIC homeschool system. OHDELA has a program called Dela Stars where the students try their best to achieve a Dela Stars card and a small prize. OHDELA also has field trips and groups for kids to meet.
OHDELA also uses different types of curricula such as Calvert and ThinkCentral. OHDELA gives parents the choice of which to use.
The school has just recently joined an online incentives program called uBoost.
