Peter van Onselen

Peter van Onselen

Peter van Onselen (born 1976) is an associate professor in politics and government at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. He is a regular contributor to newspapers such as "The Australian", "The Canberra Times", "The Courier-Mail" and "The Sydney Morning Herald". His academic research focuses on Australian politics. He previously wrote for The Bulletin and appeared on Channel Nine's Sunday program.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Political Science and a Masters in Policy Studies, both from the University of New South Wales. Dr van Onselen was awarded his PhD in political science from the University of Western Australia.
