Lutz-Jeanselme syndrome is a medical syndrom named after
Antoine Edouard Jeanselme ,Adolfo Lutz andLudwig Steiner involving mobileperiarticular fibrous nodule s at articulations or under theskin covering thebone , seen in treponemaldiseases , such as yaws andsyphilis . Preferred sites are the knee and elbow or under the skin covering the tibia, elbow, or, more rarely, the ribs, trochanter, or malleoli. Causes can includesyphilis and pinta.
