Janov ( _de. Johannesthal) is a small town in the Czech Republic.

According to the Austrian census of 1910 the town had 1,341 inhabitants, 1,306 of whom had permanent residence there. Census asked people for their native language, 1,305 (99.9%) were German-speaking. Most populous religious group were Roman Catholics with 1,334 (99.5%).
