Edward Shenderovich (born 1976) is a Russian-American entrepreneur and poet. He co-founded Quantum Art, [http://www.quantumart.com] a content management software provider, Ixtens, [http://www.ixtens.com] a multi-channel systems integrator, and Dandelife, a social biography network. Edward currently occupies the role of Head of Strategic Development at
SUP [http://www.sup.com] , a Moscow-based Internet company.Business
Shenderovich was born in
Leningrad ,USSR (nowSt. Petersburg ,Russia ) and came to the United States in 1990. He graduated fromUniversity of California at Berkeley and clerked atBaker & McKenzie in St. Petersburg, Russia, and San Francisco, California. In 1998, he had left Baker & McKenzie to co-found Reasonance, an earlyblogging /RSS management company, ran a small web development/Internet strategy consulting practice, and later had joined Silicon Valley Bank, as the Industry Analyst in Communications and Online Services. In 2000, Edward founded OIKEO, a modular web software company, which was merged with Quantum Art later in the same year. Edward became Quantum Art’s CEO in 2004, following the company’s spin out of Ixtens, and is currently serving on the board of both entities.In 2006, Shenderovich became a founding executive of SUP and currently oversees the company’s strategic development, including the development of
LiveJournal in Russia.
