Members of the Australian House of Representatives, 2007-2010

This is a list of members of the Australian House of Representatives of the 42nd Parliament of Australia (2007 - present).

There are a total of 150 members. Since the 2007 federal election, and subsequent by-elections, the Labor Party has 83 members and forms the government. The opposition Coalition has a total of 64 members; 55 of whom are Liberal members and 9 of which are National members. In addition, there are three Independents.

:1 Gippsland National MP Peter McGauran resigned on April 4, 2008; National candidate Darren Chester won the resulting by-election on June 28.:2 Mayo Liberal MP Alexander Downer resigned on July 14, 2008. A by-election was held on September 6, and Jamie Briggs was elected to replace him.:3 Lyne National MP Mark Vaile resigned on July 19, 2008. Independent candidate and outgoing NSW state MP Rob Oakeshott won the resulting by-election on September 6.
