Ethyl phenyl ether or phenetole is an organic compound that is an ether. Ethyl phenyl ether has the same properties as some other ethers, such as volatility, explosive vapors, and the ability to form peroxides.

Its boiling point was measured through experimental work at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, at the institution for Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics. The boiling point was determined to approximately 168 °C.
