Louis Murphy (born May 11,1987 in St. Petersburg, Florida) is wide receiver on the University of Florida Gators football team. Murphy played at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was ranked as the 37th best wide receiver by Rivals.com in 2005. He is now starting on the 2007 squad.

Early life

Murphy played high school at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he was a highly recruited Wide Receiver. He has earned the honor of being an Eagle Scout. College career

2005 Season

Murphy played very little in 2005, his Freshman year. He mostly played on Special teams.

2006 Season

Murphy like his Freshman year, didn't play much his sophomore year. 2007 Season

The 2007 season has been a lot better for Louis Murphy. He earned a spot on the starting roster during the Spring.
