"Actinoleuca campbelli macquariensis" is a subspecies of sea snail or true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Acmaeidae.

Distribution

This limpet is endemic to Australia's Macquarie Island, south of New Zealand.

Habitat

This subspecies is found on intertidal rocks.

Description

The shell is roundly ovate and solid, sculptured with about 60 flattened riblets, separated by linear grooves, similar to those of "Actinoleuca campbelli bountyensis" but fewer and broader.

Shell coloration is purplish-pink, with dark and light concentric zones.

Length is up to 12 mm, width up to 9.5 mm, and height up to 5 mm.
