# "Please Be Mine""Time for Me to Fly" is a song by the
Jonas Brothers from their debut album "It's About Time". It was also supposed to be in Nicholas Jonas' solo album that was never released. This song was featured during the end credits of the movie "Aquamarine" in 2006. The song was also featured at the end of an episode of "Darcy's Wild Life ", which also starred Sara Paxton.ong information
The song gives a message on how a lot of people stress and worry and to just let it all go and sort of "fly" away, and to get away from all the worries and spread your wings. It is spiritual and meant to encourage people to let God help them in their lives. As the chorus says:
"Time for me to fly, time for me to soar. Time for me to open up my heart and knock on heaven's door. Time for me to live, it's time for me to sing. Time for me to lay down all my worries and I'll spread my wings, time for me to fly."
It is a common misconception that that Nick wrote this song after he was diagnosed with
Type 1 diabetes , but Nick was diagnosed in November 2005, but the song was supposed to be on his solo debut album, which means that it was not written about his diabetes.Versions
There are two versions of the song. The first one on Nick's solo album has Joe singing in the background. It is basically the version all three brothers performed on the CBS Early Morning Show. The other is Nick singing lead with Joe and Kevin singing the background vocals (on It's About Time).
First version (Nicholas Jerry Jonas version)
The first version was made when Nick Jonas was 12 and with his voice high and up-tone. It has been put on his solo album.
econd version
The second version was re-made by Nicholas Jonas, with his voice still high and up-tone, but his brothers, Joseph and Paul (Kevin) sing the background vocals while Nicholas sings lead. This has been put on the Jonas Brothers' first album "It's About Time".
