"Radiacmea intermedia" is a species of small sea snail or true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Acmaeidae, the "Acmaea" limpets, one of the true limpet families.

Distribution

This limpet is endemic to New Zealand's Bounty Islands.

Habitat

This species is found at depths of about 90 m.

Description

The shell is oval, rather thin, depressed conical, boldly sculptured with about 25 primary rounded ribs, with a secondary one later developing in each interspace.

The external shell coloration is pale brownish, darker apically. The interior has a clearly defined dark reddish-brown muscle attachment mark on the underside of the shell.

The shell length is up to 11 mm, width up to 9 mm, and height up to 4.5 mm.
