Description
The shell is oval, rather thin, depressed conical, boldly sculptured with about 25 primary rounded ribs, with a secondary one later developing in each interspace.
The external shell coloration is pale brownish, darker apically. The interior has a clearly defined dark reddish-brown muscle attachment mark on the underside of the shell.
The shell length is up to 11 mm, width up to 9 mm, and height up to 4.5 mm.
