Boditi (also transliterated Boditu) is a town in southern
Ethiopia . Located in theSemien Omo Zone of theSouthern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region , this town has a latitude and longitude of coord|6|58|N|37|52|E with an elevation of 2050 meters above sea level.Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, Boditi has an estimated total population of 24,281 of whom 11,702 were males and 12,579 were females. It the largest town in
Damot Gale woreda .During the early 1930s, the town's Tuesday market was very important. In 1969, a group of Swedish architectural students surveyed Boditi, and presented their findings to the University of Lund.
