The shell is large and solid, nearest to the subspecies "
Cellana strigilis bollonsi ", but with a simpler colour pattern, the dark brown radial streaks being numerous, straight and narrow, never blotched.The internal shell coloration is yellowish-brown.
The maximum shell length is 72.5 mm, width 56 mm, and height 32 mm.
