The accompanying
music video to the song features Collins, as well as long time collaboratorsDaryl Stuermer andChester Thompson . It begins with an outdoor shot of a pub in which Genesis guitaristMike Rutherford is seen as an average man walking his dog, then cuts to Collins and his band playing for an uninterested crowd. The crowd slowly migrate toward the band as the song progresses, leaving them cheering at the end. Renowned bass player Lee Sklar also appears in the video playing aSteinberger headless bass, however neither Sklar nor Thompson played on the actual studio recording. The pub set is similar to that from the set for "One More Night " and the videos are meant to be seen as a seamless whole with "Sussudio" being the first part and "One More Night" being the other half. The video also features a cameo appearance by movie directorQuentin Tarantino .In popular culture
