Afshan Rafiq

Afshan Rafiq (born 25 February 1975 in Oslo) is a Pakistani Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party.

She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oslo in 2001, as the first Muslim elected to the Norwegian Parliament, but was not re-elected in 2005. She served in the position of deputy representative during the term 2005–2009.

Rafiq was a member of Oslo city council from 1995 to 2001.

She is married to fellow politician Aamir J. Sheikh.
