Moori tips

Moori is a Japanese billiards & pool tip manufacturer, fabricated by Hideo Moori in his home outside Tokyo.

Moori's handmade tips are exclusively made from boar skin and bonded by a glue lamination. Reportedly, this unique process is so secretive that Moori doesn't even allow his wife into his shop. [http://www.insidepoolmag.com]

Hideo Moori was among the first to use a lamination technique that involves using thinner pieces of leather to make a high-quality tip. Several other manufacturers have followed suit by also producing laminated tips, including Talisman, Tiger, Japanese Molavia and Kamui.

Currently, Moori makes tips in three types of hardness — "slow", "medium", and "fast".
