Harvard Terrace (Toledo, Ohio)

Harvard Terrace is a historic neighborhood in Toledo, Ohio; it is "bordered by Amherst Drive (which abuts the Toledo Zoo), Broadway, Glendale Avenue, and the Anthony Wayne Trail. While partnered with George E. Pomeroy of the George E Pomeroy Co., E. H. Close developed the Harvard Terrace Neighborhood of Toledo, Ohio; later, in 1909, Close founded the E. H. A historical review specialist for the Department of Neighborhoods conducted a survey of the neighborhood. The Backyard Baseball League

"The Backyard Baseball League(BBL)is a wiffleball league founded in 2005 by Andrew Troy, Lucas Mercer, Michael Walsh, Connor Walsh, and Thomas Smith. The League is an activity bringing youths from all around the glorious Harvard Terrace neighborhood to partake in the fun yet competitive BBL games. The League became a neighborhood icon and a lifestyle for a few amount of people. The league today contains up to 40 people from all around the Toledo area. All games are played in the backyard of the ever so famous Patrick Walsh Manor. The management and Administration consists of Andrew Troy, Lucas Mercer, and Micheal Walsh. A league that has brought many smiles and memories to all who participate, is a league that will stand as long as the neighborhood does."
