Ruatoki

Ruatoki is a settlement 15 kilometres south of Whakatane in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. The town became well known when homes were searched and road blocks were set up by police in the 2007 New Zealand anti-terror raids. It is the centre of the Tūhoe separatist movementFact|date=November 2007. Ruatoki is also the headquarters of the Ringatu Church and Movement.
