This species is endemic to
New Zealand , at the southern extremity of theSouth Island , andStewart Island .Description
The shell is very small, narrowly ovate, and without ribbing, smooth to the eye but crowded with minute pustules that form wrinkled patterns.
Coloration is dark brown, almost black.
Length is up to 10 mm, and width up to 6 mm.
