Ownership
The Mall at Fairfield Commons is owned by the Glimcher Realty Trust, the owners of the Dayton Mall. Recently, Beavercreek welcomed the arrival of another upscale mall known as The Greene Town Center. This decision has pushed for the development for a lifestyle center located near the property, however these plans appear to be on hold at the Fairfield Mall. The Mall at Fairfield Commons also spurred similarities to[clarification needed] other malls such as the Polaris Fashion Place in Columbus, Ohio.
