Canada Cup ofCurling is a major curling championship in Canada. In 2004, a second tier of competition, the qualification rounds "Canada Cup East" and "Canada Cup West" were added. In 2006, this had changed to men's and women's qualification rounds. Men's and Women's teams are featured in thisbonspiel . The finals have always been played atInterior Savings Centre inKamloops, British Columbia . The qualifying rounds are held every year with theJohn Shea Insurance Canada Cup Qualifier being held at the Ottawa and Rideau curling clubs inOttawa ,Ontario and theDiversified Transportation Canada Cup Qualifier being held at theSaville Sports Centre inEdmonton, Alberta . The men's and women's qualifiers alternate between the two cities.On February 18, 2008, the
Canadian Curling Association announced that the 2009 finals of the StraussCanada Cup ofCurling will be held at theFarrell Agencies Arena inYorkton, Saskatchewan .The current promotional named sponsor is the
