Paul Block

Paul Block is an American executive producer most recently known for his work on the now defunct San Francisco, California based TechTV (now known as G4) television network. He was executive producer and show runner of such shows as "The Screen Savers", "Call for Help", and "Unscrewed with Martin Sargent". He produced at the network from early 2001 until late 2004 when, as a result of the merger between G4 and TechTV, he returned to independent production.

Block began his television career as a talent coordinator and segment producer for "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" on NBC. He also produced series or specials for HBO, Showtime, NBC, Fox, Viacom and PBS starring, among others, Richard Belzer, Jeff Foxworthy, Steven Wright, Tommy Davidson, Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, Alan Thicke, Daisy Fuentes, George Jones, Glen Campbell, Mike MacDonald, Robert Schimmel, Steven Banks, Tanya Tucker, and Wil Shriner.

Block was born in New York City, received a bachelor's degree from Queens College, CUNY, and is currently a writer/producer residing in Portland, Oregon with his artist wife, Gila Lane.
