Ambrose Palmer (16 October 1910 – October 1990) was an
Australian rules footballer who played for Footscray in the VFL.Palmer was a rover and made his debut for Footscray in the 1933 season. Not only did he have a football career but he was also a professional boxer and thus despite being with Footscray for a decade he only played 83 games. He was an Australian heavyweight champion at boxing.
