Dual Module Player (DMP) was a careware music module player program developed by Otto Chrons for the DOS family of operating systems. Known for its excellent performance and surround sound playback support [Munsil, D: "How Dolby Stereo (aka Dolby Surround) Works", http://www.gamedev.net/reference/articles/article440.asp] , DMP was widely circulated among Internet and BBS users in the early 1990s. [Cole, D: "Guide to playing MODs on MediaVision.PAS+ cards". Usenet post on "comp.sys.ibm.pc.soundcard", dated Feb 21, 1994] The last publicly-released version of DMP was version 4.00, distributed in 1995.
