October 5 ,1980 in Thunder Bay,Ontario ) is an Canadian professionalice hockey player. In 2001 he began his career, playing forNiagara University . Tallari was a productive player for Niagara, one season grabbing 55 points in just 34 games. This production saw Tallari move to theHartford Wolf Pack , the farm team for the legendaryNew York Rangers . With opportunities limited, Tallari stayed for just one season before moving to theJohnstown Chiefs of theECHL , where he again topped the 50 point margin.Over the following three seasons, Tallari switched between teams in the
ECHL and the AHL, with stints at theCleveland Barons , theBridgeport Sound Tigers (on two occasions) and theLas Vegas Wranglers . He then made the decision to move toEurope , signing for theManchester Phoenix in the summer of2007 to play underTony Hand . Tallari had an outstanding season in Manchester, finishing as the EIHL's second highest goal scorer, managing 55 goals and 38 assists in just 59 games. This performance won Tallari the 'Best Newcomer' award at the 2008 Man of Ice Awards and ensured his selection for the 2007-08 EIHL All-Star team. In April 2008 it was announced that Tallari would leave Manchester to move to sign for the Val Pusteria Wolves in order to try and qualify for the Italian national team.External links
