Golden Diskette

Golden Diskette

Golden Diskette is an episode of the Cartoon Network original series Dexter's Laboratory, from season 2.It loosely spoofs Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and scientist Stephen Hawking, as the winners of a golden diskette are invited to the top secret laboratory of "Professor Hawk", who's body had physically deteriorated, leaving him to fly around in a robotic bird's body and speak in a mechanical voice very similar to Hawking.

ynopsis

Dee Dee, Dexter and a bunch of other kids buy computer diskettes, hoping theirs is the golden one. Dee Dee is the lucky winner, instead of Dexter, but Dexter is able to convince her to bring him along as her guest. Dee Dee dances around, eventually destroying Professor Hawk's lab, and as everyone sinks in a submarine (a take-off of Yellow Submarine), Dee Dee is able to call a square dance that navigates the sub through all of the sinking debris, saving them.Professor Hawk is so angry, that he pops out of his bird body, and is restored to physical health, and is then happy, and does a dance contest with Dee Dee, but gives himself the prize.
Dexter: "I am so confused". Dee Dee: "Good!"
