The Tribal Tribune is a Student Newspaper produced by the students of Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

Awards

The Tribal Tribune attends several competitions each year:

CSPA

At the South Carolina Scholastic Press Association, the Tribal Tribune has won the Silver Crown Award for the second consecutive year, and the Gold Medalist award.

IPA

At the Southern Interscholastic Press Association, the Tribal Tribune has received the Best in the State of South Carolina award for six consecutive years, and the Scroggins Award (given to the best newspaper in the competition, which includes the entire southeast) for the second time in five years.

The Tribal Tribune has also received an "All-Southern" ranking (the SIPA's highest) for the 16th consecutive year.

NSPA

At the National Scholastic Press Association, the Tribal Tribune has won two Best in Show awards, and the All-American Award for the sixth consecutive year.
