KNTE-FM (96.9 FM, "El Norte 96.9 FM") is a radio station broadcasting a Regional Mexican format. Licensed to El Campo, Texas, USA, it serves the Texas Gulf coast area. The station is currently owned by Liberman Broadcasting.

This change was also short-lived as the station switched back to KIOX-FM on February 4, 1991. The station would hold these call letters until the 2007 switch to the current KNTE-FM.
