Sheffield . This seat was created in1950 , largely replacing the former Sheffield Ecclesall constituency, its boundaries being significantly altered in1955 with the abolition ofSheffield Neepsend . Originally held by the Conservative Party, it changed hands three times between1966 and1974 , since when it has become a safe Labour seat, with theLiberal Democrats now in a distant second place.
