Rapid River Township is a township in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 23 at the 2000 census.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.5 square miles (94.5 km²), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 23 people, 11 households, and 6 families residing in the township. The population density was 0.6 people per square mile (0.2/km²). There were 17 housing units at an average density of 0.5/sq mi (0.2/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.
There were 11 households out of which 18.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.6% were married couples living together, and 36.4% were non-families. 36.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.09 and the average family size was 2.71.
