Terri Ann Wintermute is the Republican candidate for Illinois State Senate in the 42nd District, challenging incumbent Democrat
Linda Holmes . Wintermute was the Republican nominee for Senate in 2006 but narrowly lost to Holmes.Wintermute served on the Will County Board from 1997 to 2006. She chaired Will County’s Land Use and Zoning Committee and served on Will County’s Executive Committee. Wintermute served as Will County’s representative to the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission from 1998 to 2002.
Witermute has previously worked as the Village of Bolingbrook's Mayor's Assistant for Economic Development, legislative assistant to State Representative Jim Meyer, and served for 4 years as a township clerk.
