Synontology

Synontology is the branch of sociology concerned with relationships. The term derives from the Greek word "syneimi" which means being together or to keep company with somebody inside or outside marriage, and the suffix -ology meaning a field of study. Synontology is concerned with the general reasons and principles, contexts, structures and developments of inter-personal relationships in couples and also of different schemes of life.
