Eyology

Eyology

Eyology is a general term encompassing various forms of iridology, such as physical iridology and personality iridology, and sclerology. These are all alternative medicine practices which claim that various qualities of a person (physical, mental, emotional, personality, etc.) can be evaluated by the various markings in the irises and in the whites of the eyes. These claims are generally not accepted by mainstream science.

Most Eyologists are involved in natural health practices, including the use of pure hi-raw diet, exercise, rest, herbs, nutritional supplements, spiritual study, and other lifestyle practices. They do not claim to make diagnoses "per se", but health evaluations.
