Pelayo Cidón

Pelayo Cidón: Pelayo Fernandez Cidon was born in December 1992 in Mieres Asturias, and is currently captain of Caudal Deportivo football club, the reigning champions of the Tercera Division in Spain. Pelayo rose through the youth ranks at Caudal staying at the club despite interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Real Oviedo. Knicknamed jokingly "Pichchi" (the name given to the top goalscorer in Spain) due to his lack of goals scored, he was the only first team player not to score in the league last year. This year he has scored twice to put some of the attacking players to shame!
