Bojan Bjelić was born in
Kragujevac ,Serbia on8 March 1984 . He moved toBelgrade , the capital of Serbia, when he was three and has lived there ever since. Since he was 9, he was intensively active in tennis and later began his professional career in music after missing some free time as he continually played tennis without any free time.Education
He is currently in his fourth year in the Faculty of Financial Management and Insurance at the
Singidunum University . He finished music school at Vojislav Vučković music school under professor Milojko Pajević.Music career
Bojan Bjelić made his official debut into the music world when he performed at
Sunčane Skale in 2003 with the song, "Ženske laži". This also marked the beginning of Bjelić's cooperation with Serbian pop group, Zana. After placing 9th place at Sunčane Skale that year, he began recording his first album,Mesec od papira . In the summer of 2004, Bjelić performs at Sunčane Skale for the second time with the song, "Do bola" and won third place at the Night of New Stars in Sunčane Skale. In that same year, his first album was released under theCity Records label.He made his debut in the Macedonian music scene when he performed at
Ohrid Fest andMak Fest in 2004 where he cooperated with composerGrigor Koprovi and sang in the Macedonian mother tongue. At Ohrid Fest, Bjelić won third place with the song "Zatvori oči" and wins a trophy for being a debutant to the festival. With the same song, he won 5th place as the only international singer participating at Mak Fest. After he returned to Serbia, he performed at the first radio festival, FERAS, with the song, "Bebo vrati se", and entered the finals of the festival. His song became ever so popularin Serbia as a result of the festival. In the meantime, he recorded several music videos, promoted his first album and found Zana Studio together with Jelena i Žika, members of the Serbian pop group, Zana.In 2005, Bjelić received an invite from the organisators of Sunčane Skale to perform in Sunčane Skale for the third time, this time with the song, "Račun ljubavi". In late August 2005, he made a return to
Ohrid Fest , performing "To nije ljubav", winning both the votes of the public and those of the jury. To nije ljubav became a big hit in Macedonia that year, as well as in Serbia. He later decided to take a break from participating in music festivals, so he can record his second album.Bjelić began to record songs in an etno-folk like fashion in order for his second album to be released under the
Grand Production label. In late 2006, he recorded an interesting duet with Indy, which is titled "Ekspresno", and recorded a music video for that song. This song gave him great popularity and became widely listened to in the Balkans. In February 2007, Bjelić released his second album, titled "Ekspresno", under theGrand Production label.Discography
