Jordan Meats

Jordan Meats was a meat packer in Portland, Maine.

The processor was one of the companies of Corporate Brand Foods America, purchased in 1997 by George N. Gillett Jr., then by Iowa Beef Processors (IBP) in 1998. In 2006, "Money Magazine" listed Portland as 89th in its list of the 100 best places to live, but it also included "Jordan's Meats" as one of the biggest employers in the area, with "500 employees".
