Auckland on21 February 1938 , and died in Napier on2 May 1992 aged only 54 after a short illness. His death shocked many people. The "Kelvin Tremain Memorial Trophy" is awarded annually to New Zealand's player of the year.Chris Tremain , the Member of Parliament for Napier, is his son.External links
