"Demonic Toys"
Judith Gray and her partner/boyfriend Matt Cable attempt to arrest two arms dealers (Lincoln and Hesse) outside of the Arcadia Toys warehouse. Unfortunately, Matt is shot dead in a botched arrest attempt, but does succeed in wounding Hesse. The bad guys escape into the nearby warehouse, with Judith in hot pursuit. Hesse bleeds into a glowing crack in the floor, which inadvently awakens a 66 year old demon, who takes on the form of a menacing kid. The demon (although very weak) has some power remaining, and he uses this power to animate some toys, who then act as his minions. Their first victim is Hesse.
The demon (still taking the form of the young boy) is looking for a suitable body to inhabit so he can be reborn in a human body, and it just so happens that Judith is pregnant with her first child (the demon later explains his devilish plan to Judith during a dream scene).
Judith manages to apprehend Lincoln, but ends up having to team up with a delivery boy (Mark), a security guard (Charnetski) and a runaway (Anne), who have also become trapped inside the warehouse by fate or coincidence.
In the end, the toys and their master are defeated, with the help of a "good" toy soldier (who is actually the spirit of Judith's unborn son). Judith kills Lincoln (who is under the control of the demon), and Charnetski and Anne fall victim to the toys, with Judith and Mark coming out as the survivors. Although Mark is mentioned in the sequel, he does not make an appearance.
"Dollman vs. Demonic Toys"
Judith returned in "
Dollman vs. Demonic Toys ", to keep a close watch on the warehouse. This leads to her suspension. Although she was the main character in "Demonic Toys ", she has a smaller role in the sequel. She partners up with "Dollman " (the spacecopBrick Bardo ) from the movie of the same name, and Nurse Ginger (later called "Dollchick") fromFull Moon Features ' other minor video hit, "Bad Channels ". The three become a team in an attempt to destroy the titular toys, who have mysteriously returned to wreak havoc at the Toyland Warehouse, and are receiving additional help from amidget security guard.Against overwhelming odds, Dollman and Ginger manage to defeat the toys, but Ginger is almost raped by Baby Oopsy-Daisy at one point, as part of their plan to give their master the body he sought out.
Judith is killed in battle by Mr. Static, a dangerous toy robot. She is mentioned on the back of the DVD cover for the UK release of "
Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys ", which also features a female cop in a confrontation with the toys.In other media
In the 1990s,
Malibu Comics issued comics based on many of Full Moon's movies, including "Trancers ", "Dollman ", "Demonic Toys ", "Subspecies " and "Puppet Master ". The "Demonic Toys " comics revealed the name of Judith's son as Matthew. Baby Oopsy-Daisy murders a jogger called Jack and their demon master (the Kid) takes over his body. Much time passes, and Toyland is replaced by the Arcadia Toy Company. Matthew suspects Jack may have been possessed. It is worth noting that the comics are not considered to becanonical .
