Since October 2007 the Chief of Police has been Jacqueline Seabrooks [ [http://www.inglewoodpd.org/chief.asp Inglewood PD] ] who replaced Interim Chief of Police Julius Davis. Before Davis the department had been led by Ronald Banks.

The IPD is based at One Manchester Blvd. Inglewood, California. [ [http://www.usacops.com/ca/p90301/index.html USACOPS] ] and Officers are trained at STARS Center, which is the LA County Sheriff's Academy.
