Pandatharippu ( _ta. பண்டத்தரிப்பு) is a village in the northern
Jaffna District ofSri Lanka . It was a mission location when theAmerican Ceylon Mission (ACM) came to Sri Lanka in the 1800’s. Dr. John Scudder founded theAsia ’s first western medical center in this village. It is also was known as "Panditeripo" in ACM documents. .
