*The "TSV 1860 München II" withdrew from the league in 1982 after the forced relegation of its first team to the Bayernliga.
*The "SV Gendorf Burgkirchen" withdrew its team from the league in 2004.
*The "MTV Ingolstadt" and "ESV Ingolstadt" merged to form "FC Ingolstadt 04" in 2004.
*The "SpVgg Starnberg" merged with "FT Starnberg 09" to form "FC Starnberg" in 1992. The club was later renamed "FT Starnberg 09".
*The "FC Enikon Augsburg" folded in 1995.
*In this season 2007/08 the ratio of clubs is Oberbayern 12, Schwaben 6, however, the FC Pipinsried is geographically in Oberbayern but plays in the Schwaben leagues, making the ratio 11-7.
*The longest serving club in the league is currently TSV Rain am Lech who has been there for 11 seasons since 1997.
*FC Ingolstadt 04 and it's predecessors MTV & ESV Ingolstadt managed to win promotion to the Bayernliga eight times, four of those through the relegation play-off games.

2007-08 season

*The TSV Buchbach holds the record for spectators, averaging 855 per game, the highest number for any Landesliga club.
