Alan Munro (jockey)

Alan Munro is a top English flat racing jockey and considered one of the most successful English jockeys in the history of the sport. [ [http://www.jockeysroom.com/itm00157.htm Alan Munro, Globe Trotting Jockey and the rider of Generous ] ]

He has won many major races including the Epsom Derby and Irish Derby in 1991. He also rode Sergeant Cecil to win the Northumberland Plate, the Ebor Handicap and the Cesarewitch in the same season, a feat never achieved before.
