The "Belfast Gazette", along with the "
London Gazette " and the "Edinburgh Gazette ", is an officialnewspaper of theUnited Kingdom government . It is published byThe Stationery Office (TSO), on behalf ofHer Majesty's Stationery Office (HMSO) inBelfast ,Northern Ireland .The "Belfast Gazette" was first published on
7 June 1921 . Previously the same function was performed for the whole ofIreland by the "Dublin Gazette ", but with the creation ofSouthern Ireland , a separate publication was required inNorthern Ireland . The "Dublin Gazette" now continues in theRepublic of Ireland as "Iris Oifigiuil ".
