3 November ,1972 or 1975) is aNew Zealand actress. She is prominent for her role(s) as Dr. Sarah Gardner and theGoa'uld Osiris in "Stargate SG-1 ". She attended theLondon Academy of Music and Dramatic Art . She married actorToby Stephens in London in 2002 and thus has actressMaggie Smith as hermother-in-law . In 2003 she played Melinda Maclean, wife of British communist spyDonald Duart Maclean , and mistress of spyKim Philby (played by husbandToby Stephens ), in the TV mini-seriesCambridge Spies . She played Diana Goddard in the "Doctor Who " story Dalek in 2005. Plowman also played the role of "C" in a revival ofEdward Albee 's play,Three Tall Women , in 2006, atthe Oxford Playhouse .
