Johnny Andrews is a songwriter/producer from
Atlanta, Georgia and founding member of The Johnny Hyde Quartet.The Johnny Hyde Quartet released two full length records, "The Red Light is Always On" in 1996 and "Here Comes the Breakdown" in 2000. Johnny Hyde Quartet dissolved in 2002 and Andrews began working with other artists, including producing singer songwriter Peter Sercy's "Trust Falls" release and "Vertigo" from the band Supafuzz.
In 2003, Johnny teamed up with former members of Filter,
Geno Lenardo and Steve Gillis to form the band Widescreen, but the band dissolved in 2004 before completing a record.In 2006, Johnny Andrews collaborated with a number of artists, including Sam Thacker, Ligion, Jonathan Cour,
Ingram Hill and The Lifestyle.In 2007, Johnny Andrews collaborated with
Apocalyptica on several songs for the album "Worlds Collide ".
