Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani - Goa Campus

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani Goa Campus or BITS Pilani, Goa Campus is an all-India Institute for higher education located in Mormugao Taluka of Goa state, India. The institute offers graduate courses in engineering and science with an accompanying humanities department. It is a campus of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.

Integrated First Degree

Dual Degree Option

One of the most popular flexibilities provided in the institute's educational structure is the dual degree scheme under which it is possible for a student to work for and complete concurrently, two integrated first degrees within a reasonable period of time. All students admitted to Group S programmes are given an opportunity to work under this scheme for one of the Group P or Group S programmes also; assignment being made by competition on their performance during the first year at BITS. Hence, students have an option to take a dual with Engineering and Sciences degrees or with Engineering and Engineering degrees.

Higher Degrees

Besides undergraduate studies, BITS Pilani Goa Campus also offers M.E. Programmes in Biotechnology and Design Engineering.

Annual festivals

Quark

The annual Technical Festival of the Goa Campus is called Quark.This event is sponsored by industrial partners and several innovations in technology are showcased in 3 days. There are various events including paper presentations, invited lectures, Workshops. The event promises to go bigger as the college gets established completely. Waves

Waves is the annual cultural festival of the campus. It is a 3-day extravaganza held during springtime. Since the first intra-college event in 2005, WAVES has grown over the past three years into a National Level Cultural Festival in 2008. The highlights of the festival include an assortment of events catering to all talents, special performances by many celebrities and a general carnival-like atmosphere. pree

Spree is the inter-college sports festival of BITS Goa.

Zephyr

This is the annual inter hostel cultural festival organised by the student association. It invokes a strong inter-hostel competence with its 12 groups of participants (representing the 13 hostels). A 3-4 day event, during the month of October, Zephyr is looked up on as an event fostering cultural talent and management.
